Holidays with the Walker Brothers is the fourth book in the Alluring Indulgence series by Nicole Edwards. The Walker family is back and is inviting everyone to spend the holidays with them. Follow the seven Walker brothers through Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years! Travis, Sawyer, Kaleb, Brendon, Braydon, Ethan and Zane are heating things up and stirring up trouble in Coyote Ridge. There is even a little sneak peek from a few other residents of the little town.
This book gave us a little insight into each of the brother’s head. Kaleb, Zane, and Travis each had their own book before this one, but none of the other brothers had. It was nice to be able to see what was happening in the rest of their lives.
There was not a lot of action in this book, which was a little disappointing, but it did what it was supposed to do. It filled in some blanks and made me even more eager for the next book, Ethan. I still wanted more from it, but it was nice to catch up with the couples I had already met and to meet the brothers I had yet to.
The section about Braydon and Brendon was a little confusing. I struggled to keep them straight. I have no idea why Edwards named the twins the way she did, but when I finally got them straight, I really enjoyed reading about them.
There were still some explicit scene in this novel, but not nearly as many as the other ones. This was originally a novella but apparently developed into a full-length novel. I think it probably could have been shorter without losing any significant.
I gave this novel 3 out of five stars, but I think that was probably a high rating for this novel since nothing really happened. However, I personally liked getting to see more of the brothers.
