I guess I should have said this four months ago, but it has been a crazy four months.
It has been so weird being back in the United States. I miss Japan all the time. The culture, the food, the people. In Japan, the streets were cleaner. The people were nicer. There was less crime. It was a nice place to be and I am so thankful I got to experience what it was like over there. Japan was never on my list of dream places to travel, but I think that makes it even better because I didn’t know what I was missing. Now I do.
Moving back to the United States was a crazy experience. And while I miss Japan, I am so happy to be home. Being home with my family is something that I will no longer take for granted. After not being able to see them for three years, I had a lot of catching up to do.
Now that I am finally settled and have an apartment of my own, I am ready to come back to you guys. I am ready to start writing again. I am ready to start reading again. I am ready to get back to “real life”.
I just wanted to say thank you to all of my friends on here for being so understanding about my absence these last few months.
