Welcome back to Down the TBR Hole! I joined A Book. A Thought in the meme Down the TBR Hole, in an effort to weed through my TBR, which is currently at almost 350 books. Also, I know there are books that I have forgotten to add to this list so it should be even longer than that!
Rules:
- Go to your Goodreads account.
- Order your To-Read list by ascending date
- Read the description of a book
- Decided whether you want to KEEP the book, or you want the book to GO!
Each week I am going to look at 10 books. My goal is to narrow my list down to about half, only keeping the ones I actually want to read. If you disagree with one of my choices, PLEASE let me know in the comments below!
#1- The Time Traveler’s Wife by Audrey Niffenegger
I loved this movie so much when I first watched it, but I had no idea it was a book. When i found out I immediately bought it, but I never got around to actually reading it. I will read this book one day though and hopefully, it will be better than the movie.

#2 – Thirst #1 by Christopher Pike
I went back and forth on this one, but I decided to keep it because I own it. I have already spent the money on buying it so I at least need to try it before I kick it off the list.
⭐️ Keep ⭐️
#3 – Flashfall by Jenny Moyer
Yeah this book sounds good, but I know that it will never end up at the top of my TBR. It will always be one of those “maybe someday” books. So I decided to go ahead and take the pressure off and let it go.

#4 – The Escape by Hannah Jayne
I don’t even remember adding this book to my TBR. It sounds interesting, but I am not a huge fans of mystery. Yes I read it, but rarely. So I’m saying goodbye to this one.

#5 – Truly, Madly, Deadly by Hannah Jayne
*Repeats previous statement*

#6 – Heartless by Marissa Meyer
There is no question when it comes to this one. I have heard so many good things about this book and this author. I am definitely keeping this one.
⭐️ Keep ⭐️
#7 – Hunted by Meagan Spooner
Spooner’s name is on everyone’s lips as the buzz for Sherwood is floating around. This only makes me want to read Hunted even more.
⭐️ Keep ⭐️
#8 – The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank
This is another one of those classics that I really feel like I should read and therefore can’t take it off the list.
⭐️ Keep ⭐️
#9 – Not Without My Daughter by Betty Mahmoody
This was a book that I read in school like ten years ago and did not really pay attention to. However, i want to reread it and pay attention this time. However, I have heard a lot of negative thoughts on this book and how it depicts a culture in a way that is not accurate. Help!
❔ Maybe ❔
#10 – Paper Towns by John Green
I heard so many good things about this book, but honestly, I’m just not that interested in reading it. John Green is a talented writer, but I’ve never been drawn to his books.
