Fantastic Four (1961) #6 brings together two evil villains! Will the Fantastic Four be able to beat them when they team up?

Wait. Aren’t Invisible Girl and Mr. Fantastic engaged? Maybe I’m reading too much into this, but in the first issue, Susan said she was Reed’s fiance. So why is she now mooning over the Sub-Mariner? And why is Reed not saying anything about it?

Other than that, this was a good issue. I was skeptical at first when I learned about this team-up, but I loved the way it played out. Dr. Doom stayed very true to his character, which was what I was worried about.

Tension is continuing to grow between the Thing and the Human Torch. I’m hoping that something either happens to bring it to a head or they drop that storyline soon. It is getting a little repetitive. However, they threw Sue into the bickering this time, which I liked.

Overall, it is a good issue, but not the best one I’ve read.
