Fantastic Four (1961) #7 is a fun issue that shows a lot more about the Human Torch.

Dang, that was a harsh ending. This issue took me longer to get into than most of the others, but the ending was one of my favorites.

We saw another side to Mr. Fantastic in this comic and I don’t know if I like it or not. I never saw him as conniving before, but now I do.

Sue took a back seat in this issue and so did Thing. But we got to see more of the Human Torch’s powers. I think his powers have “grown” the most over the course of this series. I don’t know if they have actually grown or if he just is willing to use more of the power he has always had, but the depth of his power is impressive.

I’m wondering what happened back on Earth after they left. I guess I’ll see if everything just returned to normal or not in the next issue.
