Fantastic Four (1961) #8 features the Puppet Master and introduces his step-daughter, Alicia.

Unfortunately, this issue was really slow for me. I was pretty disappointed. Sometimes villains can be so stupid and this is one of those times. Probably one of my least favorite villains so far in this series. But the Fantastic Four didn’t even really win this round. They were not the ones to save the day. Not really.

We got to see Ben again! I love that Reed is working so hard to help Ben. I just wish that Thing wasn’t so angry all the time. I know that is one of his key characteristics, but I want to see another side of him.

The spotlight page in his issue was for the Human Torch, which was really cool. I love learning more about the characters in these special information pages.
