The magazine that respects your intelligence fantastic thrillers for the more mature reader. (Synopsis from Goodreads)

Writer: Stan Lee

Illustrator: Steve Ditko

Published: December 01, 1961

Amazing Adult Fantasy (1961) #7 is a collection of five short thrillers—Why Won’t They Believe Me, The Last Man on Earth, Witch Hunt, Journey’s End, and The Icy Fingers of Fear.

While I definitely wouldn’t call this a collection of thriller, I loved this. I was chuckling the entire time. These stories were so much fun to read. My favorite was Why Won’t They Believe Me, but Journey’s End was a close second. I don’t think I have a least favorite, but if I had to pick one it would be Witch Hunt. I saw the twist in that one coming from the very beginning.

I guess for their time these seemed a lot crazier, but it was nothing that I hadn’t read before. However, Lee and Ditko really brought these stories to life.

If you are looking for a quick, easy read that will make you laugh, then I highly recommend this one. This is also a storyline that you can just jump in and read. I grab #7 and wasn’t missing any information that I needed to know.
